Why Finding Your ADHD Community Changes Everything

This week, I had the absolute joy of interviewing Russ from ADHD Big Brother. Russ leads a powerful community of incredible humans who are learning to work with their brains instead of against them.
When you’re surrounded by people who share similar experiences — like time blindness, impulsivity, executive dysfunction, and more — something amazing happens: You no longer have to explain yourself. You can simply say, “This is hard,” and the people around you just get it.
That’s the magic of an ADHD community. It removes one of the biggest barriers — the constant need to justify your behavior — and replaces it with acceptance. There’s no more pretending to have it all together while struggling inside. The mask can come all the way off.
When you find a space where you belong, you stop trying to “fit in” to be accepted.
Instead, you start thriving. You join body doubling sessions because you think, “Well, if Megs can do it, maybe I can too.” You start taking action — not because someone told you to, but because you see people with brains like yours doing the same.
You begin to see the art of the possible instead of the myth of the impossible. And you start living your truth — as an incredible human who happens to have ADHD.
Want to join a community like that?
Right now, my membership is just $27/month, and anyone who joins before May 2nd will be grandfathered in at that rate even as we move into our new Circle community. On May 15th, we’ll open to the public — and I can't wait to show you what’s coming.
If you're looking for support beyond organizing, check out Russ’s space at ADHD Big Brother. And if it’s something else you’re craving — go find your people. Your tribe is out there, and you are not alone. As someone with ADHD who coaches and supports other ADHD humans, my goal is simple:To remind you that you are absolutely capable — and the perfect place to start is right where you are.
