What does an ADHD brain LOVE? Knowing exactly what to expect.

Below, I will walk you through what it looks like to coach with me from start to finish and beyond.

Your first ADHD coaching call

It starts with a call. You can book a call here where my calendar shows what times I have available in your time zone. We meet on Zoom and I'll ask you questions, share a little about me, and ultimately lay out the program and pricing to you. This is your opportunity to also ask all of your questions to understand what could be.

Then you get to decide if you would like to say yes to coaching or no. There is no pressure on either end. It's a truly collaborative process where we both have to be in it to see the progress you desire.

Let's pretend you're all in on coaching

For the sake of showing you the ropes, pretend you have said YES!

And I am celebrating the heck out of you because I'm so excited for you to start to build self-trust.

We book our tech call in the same moment. This is where I show you how I will communicate with you. I send you a sample email of what it looks like to get a follow-up each week and I have a series of onboarding emails I will drip throughout the next week before our first official session. I invite you into the community

I ask you to fill out some information about how you are living your life and to pinpoint some of the most important things you want to get out of coaching. I share some more of the tools we are going to use including:

Your Momentum Map!

Open journal vision board with weekly grid, belief and vision notes, inhale/exhale card, desired feeling, and colorful doodles

This is where we add your vision, your belief, and see all the steps you have taken along the coaching journey with me. There are wins, tools, pictures, links to podcasts, and so much more. It's a visual representation of what we are working on.

We always start with a vision

The coaching itself is going to be different for everyone, but we always start with a vision.

Where is it that you are wanting to go so I can take your hand and we can head there together?

The first month we are together is a lot of getting to know you and your unique situation so I can understand what you have tried.

Some of the things I will teach (depending on where you are starting):

  • Creating a vision and why it is important

  • How to make a full decision Regulation and how it relates to how we live our lives

  • Recognizing and noticing our reaction to clutter

  • Collecting data instead of shame to paint a picture of how we got to where we are

  • Understanding TIME How to plan a day/project/week/month

Each week, we collect data about your life and pause to check in with how it's going. Depending on what's going on, I ask more questions to help you understand where you want to make a change. We are always checking in with the larger vision and evaluating what baby steps are being taken to get there. I send a follow-up voice note after each session with a reflection of what was done and some additional insights to bring with you.

We also have "doing" sessions together. It could be on budgeting where we are collecting the info together. It could be on physical stuff and I'm supporting you in decluttering in a space. Wherever the focus is, that is where I meet you and provide guidance along the way.

The beginning of coaching is exciting. You want the change and it's promising, but it's not an overnight success kind of thing. The second two months are really cool because you begin to see things in yourself and possibilities you never imagined possible. And by the third month is when other people may begin to notice too. All that said, everyone's coaching journey is different and I cannot predict or tell you exactly what's going to happen. What I can guarantee is that I care a hell of a lot about helping you believe in yourself.

When you agree to coach with me, I hold a special part of my brain reserved for you and your growth.

Wondering how long we get to work together?

After 10 sessions, I check in and ask if you would like to continue coaching. If yes, we review coaching on the last session and keep moving forward toward an evolved vision based on the foundation we have built together. I always hold your spot until you tell me you are ready to move on. If you do decide not to move forward with coaching, on our 12th session we will review the vision and see the evidence that has stacked up to show your progress and discuss the next steps you can continue to take on your own.

All along this journey, you get access to the Organizing an ADHD Brain community where there are so many additional opportunities to work alongside other ADHD people ready to make changes in their own life. I don't coach because I have it all figured out. I coach because I have been where many of you have been, and I am able to teach you things about yourself that allow you to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
